Annual Parish Meeting Thursday 4th April

The annual parish meeting was as always excellently supported by the people of Broome.

The public expressed several concerns to the parish council with steps already having been taken to follow them up.

The poor quality of the bollard on the by-pass junction traffic island and the overgrown pavement along Yarmouth Road close to the bridge that forms the boundary with Ellingham have both been reported to the county council transport dept.

Fortunately there is no longer any litter around the junction of Loddon Road and the Loddon Ingloss Road where memorial flowers are left. The dumping of asbestos roof panels in the water works turning from the by-pass has been reported to the district council.

Also the missing footpath sign, at the start of the footpath at the Ellingham end of Yarmouth Road, close to where the pavement has become overgrown, has been reported to the county council. hopefully before too long a new one is there to point people in the right direction.
