Broome’s New Defibrillator is in Use

As of Friday 6th May Broome’s new defibrillator is in use and is available for anyone who needs to use it. It is located next to the village hall’s front door in Sun Road. The location is lit all night. Anyone who needs to use the defibrillator needs to dial 999 and the tell the ambulance service the reference number on the front of the cabinet. The ambulance service will then explain how to open the cabinet and use the defibrillator.

The defibrillator has been supplied by the charity AEDdonate, and it’s purchase is due to funds being provided by Broome’s district councillors and the parish council, and some hard work by parish councillors.
